Did you ever post images of your setup?

At first glance I did not see anything. Just curious.

I searched around and looks like I never did :)
I'll be later in the studio so I'll take a picture.

(Sorry for the slight delay with reports)
As expected, August was as slow as it can be. Good news is, it stated to pick up slowly by the end of month.
We are still holding on to BTC (81,84) and LTC (73,66).
I expect the business to pick up in next few months. We have few projects in the pipeline and if those materialize, kiln and wheel will see a lot more action.
I have thought about investing a portion of BTC to interest bearing virtual securities in BTCT. If you consider this idea extremely stupid, please let me know via forum: https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,980.0.html

Thanks for the monthly report. I think , atm,  the only possible investable security with low risk is ASICMINER-PT . All remaining mining businesses (without manufacturing) are completely LOSS. So if you want to invest , just buy some ASICMINER (@ these prices ) with at most 25-30 % of the  pocket.

p.s: I have tidy amount of ART shares

I think my vote (and I don't have a ton of ART shares, but I do have some.) would be to not put ART funds into any other assets.  I know COGNITIVE did it on GLBSE and I did it with LTC-MINING on GLBSE and we both lost most of the funds.  There are probably others that have done that as well.  It's not pretty when it happens either because then they're not there when you need them for your operation.

Thank you for your input.
I do not like any of those typical mining "bonds" at all, especially if you look at the difficulty.
EMIF, you are correct, only one that makes any sense is ASICMINER-PT, but I am not sure how long they can keep their head above the water if competition is really going to deliver (like Actm, for example)
So, I was actually looking at BTC-BOND but I do not like it's thin bid side. It's going to be too hard to get out.

I will also put my vote on keeping ART in art.

But, if you want to start a separate fund for investing, I'd be interested.

I am taking a closer look at Litecoininvest.com.
They are just starting out so I am not in a hurry.
If you have any concerns or knowledge why not sign up there, please let us all know.

If you have time I would also take a look at ciphertrade.com which will be coming online soon.  https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,4582.615.html
Post #617.
Woodtech is a reputable member has run a litecoin mining company Ciphermine for some time.

I have no idea which platform will fit your needs, and Litecoininvest does seem to have their &*% together pre-launch. The only thing that made me think was post #32 in thread https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,6460.30.html, although I don't know what the insurance costs would be for a business of this nature.

Both exchanges will be registered and run from outside the US so that is a good thing.

Medicine I really do appreciate what you wrote there, just saying that neither company will be able to get insurrance, and we always had our world to uphold. And if you are worried about that, you should read Kates securities, you will find a magic line in there.

Have we got any updates here for our ART shares?

I am looking for a simple and reliable way to distribute news and updates ONLY to those on the ltcglobal ART list.
In few words. Our BTC and LTC balances have not changed. I had to spend about 20 EUR to buy some stuff for the kiln and spent another 75 for advertisements of our services. Already getting some positive feedback.
We are getting ready to move to bigger studio but this is going to take some time (months). When we are set, new equipment will be ordered etc.
I am keeping me eye on Actm colored coin project. If this works for BTC, it works for LTC.

Lets move to www.litecoininvest.com
If you are against it, please state your argument and lets talk about it.
Colored coins and other similar P2P ideas are still shrouded in rainbows and belong to the land of unicorns. (hopefully, not for too long)
