It seems as though there has been a complete block on any US citizen from purchasing any LTC or BTC with real money. All I want is to buy a few coins so I can get a little mining rig (as that is the only method of payment accepted). Is that too much to ask? Anyone out there willing to sell me about 60 LTC at a fair market price? I see all of these Western Union, and wires, etc. and they scare me away. Paypal would certainly be easiest.

Talk about scary! Paypal is the worst way to go when trading an irreversible currency. Some one could give you the LTC, then you pay with paypal. All you have to do is call paypal the next day and complain and *poof* you have the LTC and your money back. Ask me how I know this.

Western Union/Moneygram are great for people selling LTC because after the cash is picked up, the transaction is irreversible. As me how I know this as well.

Find a way where payments are irreversible and you found a good payment method.

Appreciate the info. Doesn't sound like I need to ask how you know what method is best. Sorry to hear you got burned using Paypal. I'll keep searching litecoinlocal.org for a resonable price in the meantime.
