There were no responses to my call for us to agree on grievances / establish a timeline, etc... nothing has happened on that front, though I still think it's a good idea and I've not let go of the belief that I was defrauded out of a significant amout of money, by Kate and her team.
I got in touch with the FCA too (http://www.fca.org.uk
) and filled in their complaint form at http://www.fca.org.uk/site-info/contact
(the "Consumer contact centre" form when scrolling down a bit, not the "Firm contact centre" one). I essentially explained the situation and provided them with the links to the existing Ciphermine/Ciphertrade websites as well as the links to the 2 main threads on this forum (including this current one).
The bad news is that they essentially told me in response that since Ciphermine/Ciphertrade are not authorized with the FCA, we don't have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
The minor good news however, is that they also added this: "I will refer the information you have provided about this firm internally to be reviewed in case they aren't authorised by us when they need to be. We wont be able to come back to you about what we do with this information however, as this would be confidential."
Now it might not be much, but if enough people report what happened, maybe they'll take a closer look at what happened here. Maybe worth a shot... Not like we have much more to lose by now anyway.
