They've just covered a similar story, at least in terms of PR, management and apparent scam: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-trader-customer-losses-management-disappearance

We once reached out to them asking for a story about Labcoin. Never received an answer.

My lawyer lodged my complaint with the FCA Thursday, UK time.

My attorney has sent my complaint with related exhibits to Kate's attorney, the SEC, the FCA, and SFO.

If you all haven't filed a claim with the SEC or FCA, you need to do so.

Did you guys get any responses regarding these claims yet?

I'm not sure how these things work, is there any way to make collective complaints?

Perhaps we could work together to do something similar in this situation?
What I'm thinking is that we should together, agree a list of grievances.

I think that's a good idea, it seems we have a decent case to make. I'm pretty sure the whole ToS "this website is a game bla bla" doesn't have much legal value since Ciphermine did purchase equipments and paid salaries with our investments.

While I'd love to see my money back, I'd want to at least see them charged with fraud (some of us have been very patient and understanding in the midst of the turmoil - stupidly so with hindsight)...

There were no responses to my call for us to agree on grievances / establish a timeline, etc... nothing has happened on that front, though I still think it's a good idea and I've not let go of the belief that I was defrauded out of a significant amout of money, by Kate and her team.

With regard to equipment - Kate is about to take delivery of a brand new 300Mh KNC Titan that we bought for her.
I do hope the Bondholders have moved forward with their plan to litigate.

So has anything happened here? Kate will be mining with the Titan we bought her by now. Why is this fraudster not being held to account?!

I got in touch with the FCA too (http://www.fca.org.uk) and filled in their complaint form at http://www.fca.org.uk/site-info/contact (the "Consumer contact centre" form when scrolling down a bit, not the "Firm contact centre" one). I essentially explained the situation and provided them with the links to the existing Ciphermine/Ciphertrade websites as well as the links to the 2 main threads on this forum (including this current one).

The bad news is that they essentially told me in response that since Ciphermine/Ciphertrade are not authorized with the FCA, we don't have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

The minor good news however, is that they also added this: "I will refer the information you have provided about this firm internally to be reviewed in case they aren't authorised by us when they need to be. We wont be able to come back to you about what we do with this information however, as this would be confidential."

Now it might not be much, but if enough people report what happened, maybe they'll take a closer look at what happened here. Maybe worth a shot... Not like we have much more to lose by now anyway.

ive experienced my fair share of such situations.
I approx Invested 639 Litecoins- into ciphermine.
i purchased 239 ciphershares and even remained
loyal by not cashing out back then.

To be told nearly a year later my investments
are completely lost..

Is this how you treat your investors
that stood behind you even when LTCglobal
Shutdown and decided to keep their
our hard earn money and offer us nothing in return.

America you aint gonna get off that easy.. SEC/FBI will
be paying cipertrade, kate who ever running this half ASS
project a visit.

remember ltc got up to $48 in Nov 2013
ive lostd out on $1000's while Cipermine
decided to offering nothing but hot air & excuses.

"O WHAT WEB U WEAVE WHEN U PRACTICE TO DECIEVE"

P2P365

Ill be watching or if someone get word about a lawsuit
i want in.. make ciphermine think twice about jus taking
investors money.

Peace & Love

Thanks for doing this. I wish she would have taken responsibility for this cluster f÷&=* of a project.  At least see it through, liquidate and try to pay people back.

This is the result of the wild west cryptocurrency era.

She's still running with it as best I can see - look at the bond thread. All the shares and assets we paid for have been given to the bondholders, apparently in exchange for them not taking legal action against her - which she seems to think would somehow include 'us' as well.
So, they have a piece of nothing, we have literally nothing, she made a fucking fortune.

Bit late to the party, yes... Kate fucked us all over, never explained where significant funds went, spent 6 months of CM's life AWOL and presumably for the last year has been mining with the KNC Titan we bought her - that's about 25BTC right there if she did it right. I doubt she did though, she never was too good at the actual mining part.
