Questions about LC
« on: December 15, 2015, 02:28:13 PM »
Hey guys!

Recently, with my friend, we decided to dive into mining litecoins (first we were thinking about bitcoins, but they need a beast machine). However, I found some USB mining sticks, which have high MH/s (330, link at the end of the post). I checked these values on a calculator site, and It gave me an interesting result https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=330&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=51947.96327878&price=3.70327&currency=USD&power=&energycost=0.10. This seems a bit weird. Am I getting something wrong? Because If not, I go out and buy 10 of those...

(If I'm wrong, please tell me how to mine litecoins without those)

those will mine 330 MHs of Bitcoin SHA-256.

They will NOT mine the Litecoin SCRYPT algo.

This is your lucky day :)
A new project has just been launched with some USB units left. They are called FutureBit Moonlanders and are the first serious Scrypt/Litecoin *USB* miners available.
It is a limited bach.
