Can you please post some feature of this here? What are its all specifications and what are its components?
What are its new applications and what similarties it has with the other available systems?
Can you please tell me its compatibility with the type of hardware and the software?

That's not a problem. Basically Litecoin Core is downloading the nesscary files to run, that's the set of files known as the blockchain.
All you have to do is keep your computer switched on, and let the program do its thing. It will be done in a while (it can take a few hours to do so).

When i got that popup as in post 39, i clicked on 'ignore', and now i wait already for more than an hour.
OK i will wait still a few hours. Should be happy when my wallet works again.
It's because i have another desktop that i had to restart.
Thanks for the quick reply.

If you don't want to wait so long, I would recommend you using Electrum LTC.

It allows you to do the same things as Litecoin Core, but doesn't have to download the entire blockchain. The entire blockchain is around 4GB, and if that's an issue, I would recommend using Electrum LTC. You can find that at: https://electrum-ltc.org

And it will not give problems with my wallet dat.file?
Maybe i wait still a few hours with the other download and hope he continues one moment. Is there a chance that it will continue after 2 years and 48 weeks?

Oh, so you have coin sin your wallet.dat (from Litecoin Core)?

If so, let it load, then I would recommend importing your private keys over to Electrum LTC.

Yes, i had already LTC on my wallet dat.file. I took a backup in may this year.
I now try to download since 2 hrs 43 minutes.
It stays at 2 years and 48 weeks behind.
If i check in Peers, the number keep on changing.
I think that is good? There is so still a possibility that all of sudden the 2y 48 weeks keep on going further?

There is a way to speed up the syncing time.
It's to use something called 'Bootstrap.dat'.

Basically you download Bootstrap.dat from one of these URLs:

Then you have to close the Litecoin Core application if open.
After that, you must open a folder, this folder can be located at different places for Windows, Mac and Linux systems.
So if you have a:

Mac: copy 'Bootstrap.dat' into
Code: [Select]
/Library/Application Support/Litecoin/PC (windows): copy 'Bootstrap.dat' into
Code: [Select]
%APPDATA%\Litecoin\Linux (distros): copy 'Bootstrap.dat' into
Code: [Select]
$HOME/.litecoin/
After copying 'Bootstrap.dat' into one of those folders, you must open the Litecoin Core app. It will automatically start using those file, you might get a different message at the bottom-right of your screen.

It should take a hour or so to complete, maybe faster, depending on your system's speed.

DId it this way and stops again at 2 years and 48 week behind.
Only 270676 blocks downloaded.
Same problem.
