LTCGear qAsic Cloud Mining
« on: June 27, 2014, 08:14:53 AM »
Can someone explain?

Quote
The trade in program:
Base table:
Orders which were never sent will get 6 qASICs per FPGA (or one and a half ASIC), eg. one Scriptor 8X will get 48 qASICs
Orders which were sent but never converted to Farm Shares will get 4 qASICs per FPGA (or one ASIC)
Orders which were sent and converted to Farm Shares will get 3 qASICs per FPGA (or 3/4 ASIC).

So if you got Scriptors at home you get what? 4 asic shares aka 400 khs?

Great news. But the shares on the shop are a little bit expensive.

X11 coins.
I will add, experimental, a small number of X11 permanent modifiers which can be attached to any type of share to mine X11 coins. At the start, only DRK will be available. If I manage to work with actual hw setup, I will add more modifiers.
Do you can announce an ETA?

I think that he intends per FPGA chip.
In fact, Scriptor8x has 8 FPGA chips and he says 48 qASICs (8*6=48),
I guess if it's possibile to send back the boards and have more shares (my Scriptor8x is turned off by two months).

1 Scriptor8x which was sent but never converted= 4*8 qASICs = 8 ASIC = 100*8 kHs ?

So if you ordered 1x 1M5 but it was never shipped you get an equivalent 24MH/s of qASICs, does this number look correct?

Hi all,

Trying to get up to speed on how this system works! Does anyone know is the hashing power for x11 a 1:1 ratio? i.e. 10k KHs scrypt = 10k KHs X11?

I've been trying to find this type of info, but I didn't.

Thanks.

I'm not sure this will apply to any farm or asic shares, because he didn't announce the details.  In general however,  the X11 hashrate is about 3x the scrypt rate (i.e. 500kh scrypt will get about 1500kh with an X11 setup).  That doesn't mean you are going to mine 3x as many coins or make 3x as much by switching to X11.  That will depend largely on the difficulty and exchange rate of the coin you are considering.

Once bee gives the details, you can go to Coinwarz and click on the Darkcoin mining calculator.  You can use that to see how many Darkcoins the conversion may produce for you and decide whether paying for it is worth the cost

Okay, I am lost. I have 5594 HW Shares. There is no way to convert them yet, right? All I am seeing is the standard conversion. Has he not implemented the trade in for these yet? Just announced it?
