Litecoin Mining Comparison
« on: January 11, 2015, 10:39:29 PM »
Hi,

I've put together www.litecoinminingcomparison.com during the Christmas holidays as a hobby project. Please check it out, suggestions for improvements are welcome.

I also did www.cloudminingcomparison.com for cloud services. A word of warning, cloud mining is risky. LTCGear is dead/in very very very serious trouble.

My goal is to update these sites every weekend.

Cheers!

Erik

It would be nice to see older scrypt hardware listed as well to compare. Like the gridseeds and such.

I've added te Gridseed Blade, since it still appears to be for sale, but in general I'd like to keep the site up-to-date and phase out obsolete hardware.

It would be ok if it wasn't plugging MinersLab scrypt miners when no one has heard of them...

2nd column should be W/MH?

I can't vouch for who is legit or not. As always, do your research well in this business before ordering anything.

They've got a lot of bad press here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=883534.40

But I've seen no proof of anyone getting scammed.

Many of the pre-order companies are very very late on delivery, but unless they go bankrupt I will list them.

About the J/MH it is the same thing as W / (MH/s), since W = J/s, we get (J/s)/(MH/s) = J/MH

They are still offering pre-orders yet you left them in shipping already area.

I've never even heard of the company.

That's why I question it.

Sorry, I'd missed that they pushed shipping date. Fixed that now. Thanks!

No they're not well known, but I don't rank them on that, too much work. I will of course remove proven scammers.

I'm pretty sure you can remove zuesminer volcano... since they've cancelled it at the beginning of Nov 14.

All of your pre-order companies are scams/likely to be scams (Alpha - known scam; FlowerTech - known scam, WolfV - very likely scam).

The only miner really available now that could even be competitive is the Titan.  That's about it.

Again, I do not vouch for how legit the companies are. That is for you to decide. Until they go bankrupt or announce that they will not ship, I will list them.

My personal opinion is that most mining companies started out with honest intentions but making ASIC:s is not easy. Plus the BTC and LTC nosedive didn't help.

I invested with Alpha myself and I still, naively, hope that they will ship.

Even the Titans that did ship have had some quality issues.

So currently there are no scrypt miners worth buying right now? Then why is there such a difficulty on litecoin right now?
