Yup thanks , I have 5 1300w psu's sitting around and the s4's I ordered already come with power supplies so I have the wattage to spare.

order 1 just placed

Ohh the smell of new asics cooking in the morning.  You can always tell with new hardware that initial smell of chips being burned in for I sec I though my house was on fire.

Update: Shipping and deliver was amazing ordered on Friday received on Wednesday from DHL.  Thanks Tommy.

I have a bunch of pics right now it is hashing for me on DogeCoindark pool just to get the initial burn in process done then I will switch to either westhash or LTC pool.

Hash rate is on the low side 180MHZ but I'm told it takes 24 hours for the chips to settle in keeping fingers crossed.

Will post pictures as well as power use when I find my kilowatt.

p.s the machine is really well build quite comparable in construction to the Spoondolies-tech hardware and I did a visual verification on the chips and they all seem brand new
didn't want to pull the boards out but I took the top off.

I wont go as far as to vouch for AlcheMIner but they are legit in regards to producing/shipping and selling real hardware which is more than I can say for others I will not name here.

That's good to hear and definitely quick shipping. Did you upgrade to the latest firmware? They mentioned that a page or so ago.

it came with the current firmware 1.14 which matches the latest version on their site

I think it needs to be on fixed diff pools , move it to a new pool the multicoin pool at :

https://hash-to-coins.com

and now its pushing 240MHZ or so pretty stable as well but a lot of rejects :
Since: 2015/3/4 16:47:38, accepted / rejected: 938 / 312

I almost want to order another one so I can have one running on a multipool and one wemineltc to compare the hash rates but  I don't think I could deal with due to the noise and power requirements.

Plus my two s4's are coming next week and I need to prepare for those.

all in all its nice to be back in the scrypt game.  This box should ROI in about six months LOL kind of a wasted investment but at least its real.

That's great news they're legit at least. Have you tested customer service to see how responsive they are?

At least difficulty isn't going anywhere quick.

yeah that's a good point on difficulty.

not tried customer service yet they only have support via email it seems I'll give the machine a day or so to run before contacting them if the hashrate does not reach 250mhz at least

We have better performance in GHASH.io and set difficulty to 50000.
The higher difficulty could reduce the lost in communication.
Please have a try.
Happy mining.

Happy mining.

That's not really an option for me , I despise centralization and huge pools like gigahash which is linked to cex.io.

I prefer to mine on smaller pools preferable p2p or heck even westhash and nicehash vs gighah.io.

anyways looking at the logs it seems on wemineltc I get a good hashrate sometimes pushing 300MHZ average of about 250MHZ but still 20% reject and looking at the logs I saw this :

2015-03-05 14:07:44,037 WARNING proxy # [0ms] Share from 'Marvell9.1' REJECTED

rejects seem to be dropping with time but still as high as 10-15% but a ton of work_timeouts not sure if it is typical with the custom mining code the box uses but the timeouts seem rather high.

I think this thing could benefit from a custom cgminer fork like most other miners use , the reject issue  I think is software based the hardware seems solid.

for a free 96mhz miner I am sure ckolovias the developer of cgminer could develop something that works I'll try to get in touch with him if Alcheminer is amenable to providing him a free sample.

Can you set your difficulty manually on any of the pools you use?

Upping to 50k like mentioned should help "some".
