Will there be a next Pump for litecoin? All the interest for pumping is gone to other coins: Ripple, Stellar and Paycoin (the next new kid on the block). Will Litecoin survive with all the new coins coming? Or the price dropping merely come from the inflation of 1 mln. coins a month.

Litecoin, much more so than any of the currencies you listed, has always hinged on the price of bitcoin if we consider previous price inflations.

This in turn means that the so called "pump" comes naturally if bitcoin rises in price significantly, which in my opinion there is a good chance of seeing due to all the holidays coming up in the near future (chinese new year being the most significant one)

I also predict that provided the bitcoin price rise has enough steam, it may drive the litecoin community to provide support with a pump of their own, with the intention of breaking the sell ceilings to reach the 0.03+ltc/btc exchange rates we saw last year. It all depends on bitcoin really.

I don't believe in "pumps." They only influence speculators and make the coin less stable for people who are actually using it as a currency.
The best thing for Litecoin is for a nice steady rise in price over the long run. This will be beneficial for everyone. It helps holders. It helps new people to the coin. And it helps merchants with adoption.
Add long as we work together as a community and push merchants (gently, but consistently) Litecoin will continue its success.

Is Litecoin dying?

Over 1.8 million in 24 hour volume.

Seems dead to me. ::)

Yeah, but it is almost 0.005 BTC, that's 10% of its ATH.
That's like 0.5% of a BTC, LOL!

Bitcoin and LTC markets are just like the modern day US stock market.

Everything is being run by HFT and "penny profit" trades.

If you really think there are legit millions of $$$ a day in people converting and holding or selling then you are a fool.

People should really pay attention to the litecoin log chart. The same thing is happening to bitcoin, only more slowly.
