Pre-order days are long gone. I lost my shirt on pre-orders.  :'( I bought LTC with money I was going to use for pre-order ASIC Scrypt miner and am happy. :)

I still have my GPU miner running to support the network but I'm waiting for proven miner with low power consumption and high hash rate miner before I invest. I've learned my lesson with BFL and Cointerra with Pre-order.

Current price point for October is $5/MHs.  If you can't beat that then you should not be selling these units.

$5000 = 1GHs. < Base line

Their Wolf is $12000 for 1GHs.  Way over priced if it is not vaporware.

Good News Or Bad News First?

The bad news is that we still have a few days late to present our prototype.
The good news is that everything is working fine – here’s the progress of the project:

The high speed USB communication between the host machine and the Achronix platform required a logic translator. This was prototyped and is currently being tested.
The port of the Multithreaded miner capable of 4000 Communication Threads (not processing), was debugged and it is now capable of start sending work to the ACSMA unit through USB connection.
ACSMA unit was modified to communicate with the “Communications Multithreaded Miner Host Application”

The pieces work by its own and now the whole system is going to be integrated as a whole unit for proof of concept.

The prototype will be presented the next friday 10 October, 2014 at 10 AM GMT -7

We receiving a lot of email asking us the exact date of the presentation of our prototype and we understand that you don’t like this inconvenience. Our development team works 12h/24h and 6d/7d trying to meet the date.
Now for each delay we offer an additional power hash.

To catch up we offer more than 10% of additional hash ~128Mh/s.

The Wolf V1 will have an 1 152 Mh/s of power hash instead of 1 024 Mh/s

We apologize again for the delay – appointment next Friday at 10 am.

Might as well make a new section labelled 'If you actually invested in this, you are freaking mad!'.

I'd like to make a point, if the company has to say it is ethical it probably isn't.  Reference: Alpha Technology, Ethical Hackers.

All projects should start in Late / Failed / Scam and earn their way out  ;)

That is what the Preorder/Investing section is for.  All projects start in the Announcement section.  As soon as they set a delivery, go live, release date they go into the pre order investing section.  There they are on the clock.

I recommended that Announcements should be just that that a project will be launched, nothing more.  Any request for preorders, investments, etc request a set delivery time (end of the month, end of Q3, end of the week, etc.).  No project should be allowed to set a date that is more than 1 quarter.  If a request for preorders/orders/investments appears without a delivery date it should automatically be deleted.

With a preorder/order/investment request + delivery date the project should be move to that section with the subject line stating name, request type and delivery date set by the moderators moving the topic and editable by the project owner.

No redefining of delivery dates.  You are delayed you go to late, no ifs ands or buts.  That is what late means.  You can get out of late if you deliver even if it was late, you automatically get moved to success, completed.

Just my thoughts
