Whoever is hotlinking to these builds, please stop. I move things around occasionally, and all the old links are dead because of the disk image error. If you are considering linking to these on your site, or you already are, please link to this thread instead.

If something goes wrong, comment. If everything goes right, also comment. I like good feedback.

I've decided I'll compile SGMiner from the github every week or so and post the binaries, GPG signed with my key. I'm going to try to do this every week, if I forget, somebody please PM me and I'll get right on it. First link follows:

<links removed, see below>

(Note that the main site is very NSFW, so I wouldn't go there.)

If you feel like donating, here's my address: LNc7w8HpAFJCnhbZqS3nmDwZP6h2Rrbqzn

Hope this helps some people!

By the way, I compile statically, so there are no DLLs to carry around.

Next round!

<links removed, see below>

I got bored, so you guys can have an early update:

<links removed, see below>

Update for the 1st:

<links removed, see below>

Update for the 5th:

<links removed, see below>

Update for the 8th. Note that some earlier versions may have broken curses support, I'm sorry. This one should be fixed:
<links removed, see below>

Accidentally left a DLL file in the above one; I will make sure that doesn't happen again.

Update for the 13th:
<links removed, see below>

Why the links are removed:

I was trying to migrate to a new server, and it didn't work. So I tried to restore from the old disk image, and it was broken. Sadly, I could not recover anything from it, so consider those links permanently dead. Sorry, guys. I will, however, continue to compile and upload 64-bit Windows SGMiner development binaries. See below for the newest.

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-04-14-2014.zip.sig

This was originally supposed to be a thread for compiling development versions of SGMiner, since binaries of stable releases can be found elsewhere, however, for some reason people trust my binaries a lot, and I've gotten requests for Win64 binaries of stable releases from people who aren't interested in cutting/bleeding-edge versions of SGMiner, so here's 4.1.0:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/stable/sgminer-4.1.0-win64.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/stable/sgminer-4.1.0-win64.zip.sig

If you're looking for sph-sgminer, to mine coins that sgminer doesn't support, I compiled some binaries here:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/sph-sgminer/sph-sgminer-04-17-2014.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/sph-sgminer/sph-sgminer-04-17-2014.zip.sig

If you're looking for Zuikkis' fork of sgminer, I compiled some binaries of that too, and they're here:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/zuikkis/sgminer-zuikkis-04-17-2014.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/zuikkis/sgminer-zuikkis-04-17-2014.zip.sig

If the above links don't work, the DNS record has not fully updated, and you can try this:

Update for the 18th:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-04-18-2014.zip

Update 04/18/2014:

Site now protected with SSL! In addition, the HTTP site redirects to the SSL secured site.

Update 04/22/2014:

This is kind of embarrassing, but in this build and from now on, you'll probably notice the sgminer binary is ~35% smaller. I was sort of... forgetting to strip it. Yes, I know, it's bad and I should feel bad. Anyway, here's your update for the 22nd.

Also, if anyone with commit access to the sph-sgminer or Zuikkis' sgminer repos is reading this, please either rebase against the original sgminer, or fix the win64 build bug. It's been over a month, and I have to manually edit the source each time. For sph-sgminer, change line 3095, for Zuikkis', change 3128 from:

Code: [Select]
#if !defined(WIN32) || defined(__MINGW64_VERSION_MAJOR)

to:

Code: [Select]
#ifndef WIN32

I'm pretty sure it's been over a month since I reported this bug and submitted the fix...

05/18/2014 - 12:30 PM UTC
My server, Mikhaila (which serves the ottrbutt.com website), is going down for maintenance and security fixes, effective immediately. She'll be back up... well, when she's back up. Hopefully no longer than a few hours, but that assumes everything goes to plan (like that ever happens.)

05/18/2014 - 06:30 PM UTC
Mikhaila is back online, and ottrbutt.com is working properly. She's actually been online for the past two hours, I've just been a little busy. Anyway, things went almost perfectly, although due to aforementioned preoccupation, I didn't actually bring her down until around 1:00 PM UTC. Anyway, maintenance and security fixes have been completed, and I'll do my best to give more notice next time.

05/21/2014
Instead of compiling master, as I normally do, since 4.2.0 was so recently released I decided to compile it instead.

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/stable/sgminer-4.2.0-win64.zip.sig

05/25/2014
Update. Also, you may have noticed that I didn't compile sph-sgminer and Zuikkis' fork last time. Since there have been no commits for quite a while, I see no point in recompiling the same code in the same way, rather than using the earlier binaries.

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-05-25-2014.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-05-25-2014.zip.sig

I'm now compiling sph-sgminer_x11mod.

I'm alive - sorry it took an actual week (7 days) this time:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-v5-06-06-2014.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-v5-06-06-2014.zip.sig

06/15/2014
Sgminer no longer builds for Win64.

10/07/2014
Back again, I have SGMiner 5. Dunno if I'll stick to my schedule here, but have this. Also, this was done against my old libraries and ADL 7.0, I haven't had time to fetch and unpack new AMD Win64 drivers, as well as rebuild zlib, cURL, and pthreads. Before anyone asks, no, this does not contain my personal kernels. Anyway, here:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-v5-10-07-2014.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/dev/sgminer-v5-10-07-2014.zip

11/28/2014
I think I've fucked up and lost my key. However, it's not a massive problem, as I still have the private keys for the BTC address I used to authenticate on Bitcoin-OTC - so I will create a new key, and register that one with gribble. You'll be able to check gribble to verify my new key soon.

12/24/2014
New build! This is of the SGMiner official master branch, supporting Neoscrypt, as well.

Give me a link to the github, and I'll see if I can compile it for at least 64-bit.

EDIT: I think I found it, https://github.com/zuikkis/sgminer
I'll compile it and have it up soon.

Done. 64-bit only, if you REALLY need 32-bit, ask.

I tried sgminer this morning and my hash rate was less than what I was getting in cgminer with the same settings.

There are lots of new features, for example, you can use different numbers of threads for different cards without starting two instances of the miner, and optimized OpenCL kernels. There are also bugfixes; now it doesn't crash on exit with 290 or 290X cards. Additionally, scrypt support has been abandoned by the CGMiner author, so there will be no new features or bugfixes for it in the future.

I tried sgminer this morning and my hash rate was less than what I was getting in cgminer with the same settings.

You might have to tune your card differently. Also try the different kernels; I can get 1085kh/s out of my R9 290X.

Appreciate your work wolf, i left you a tip, keep it up and continue releasing new versions.  you are keeping litecoin mining from dying off through continuous updates.
