Why are you so reluctant to support process payment GoCoin ?
« on: March 02, 2014, 10:31:59 PM »
Yes, you must admit that you are reluctant!
Why?
I think this company is committed to promote Litecoin (and their LTC process payment of course).
Gocoin talks about Litecoin on Facebook and Twitter (Gocoin is very actively involved), and I think during exhibitions.
I think companies talking on Internet and during exhibitions about Litecoins  are not so many and we must not ignore them.

GoCoin now begins to have clients using their Litecoin process payment.
I sent an email to Steam (video games) and Gyft asking them to accept Litecoins payments  and advising them to contact GoCoin.
I also sent an email to GoCoin CEO (Steve Beauregard)  and Brock Pierce (Chairman of the Board & Co-Founder) advising them to contact us on this forum.
I think GoCoin can be a real improvement for our community and it can contribute to spread Litecoins.

What do you think of GoCoin?
What can we do to persuade more and more companies to use LTC process payment GoCoin?

I could not agree more.

Spread the word that anyone can accept Litecoins just like cash with GoCoin.

Recent example - http://guests.met-art.com/   (NSFW)

The checkout process is flawless and FAST.  GoCoin does an excellent job and deserves our support.

Bitcoin Shop Announces Strategic Investment in Leading Digital Currency Payment Platform, GoCoin.
The Bitcoin Shop will also be utilizing GoCoin’s payment processing for their marketplace, and despite the name, they’ll be accepting litecoin, too.

I have heard of at least THREE payment processors now accepting Litecoin payments.

The last time the question "What does litecoin need to succeed?" was asked the answer at the time was "A payment processor."

We need to spread the word and get merchant adoption now.

So many people don't know they can take LTC with GOCOIN as easy as they take BTC with BitPay.  Easier because checkout is faster and you have no worries about that 15 minute countdown clock.

After using LTC then going back to BTC it is like a glacier in comparison.

You still only have 15 minutes to pay the GoCoin invoice, same as Bitpay. Setting up with GoCoin is more complicated than BitPay, they require more documentation. Probably worth it to be able to accept Litecoin as well as Bitcoin.

And now eGifter
Perhaps Gyft will wake up now, and will add Litecoins paymenst.

GoCoin is a real competitor now for Coinbase and Bitpay.
I think Coblee should talk about it to Coinbase (and ask them to urge Litecoin acceptance).
This kind of competition is a very good thing for Litecoin
I think we should thank GoCoin

Coinbase can not get LTC on board until they can find an exchange that isn't anonymous (BTC-E) and has enough liquidy.

Kraken has pretty good KYC and Due Diligence, as well as a growing LTC liquidity.

The thing is if they are already accepting bitcoin with Bitpay , they're not going to start using an other payment processor like Goincoin just to accept Litecoin. That's what the CEO of Overstock told me in a email and it makes sense , too much of a hassle to use a second payment processor.

Yeah, just dump Bitpay. Gocoin handles both (and more) easily. And then there is now moolah.io
