Just added 5 LTC to each of the development funds.  Looking forward to the Electrum project being completed.  It would be awesome if a single Electrum client did both BTC and LTC.  It would make it that much easier for people getting into BTC to just download the combo client and then they would have immediate access to both networks.

Remember people are lazy...  Example, at my day job I've found that people are too lazy to open attachments in e-mail... if you want them to see something it should be in the body, or even better the subject line :)

So, anyway I'm looking to fund anything that makes BTC/LTC easier.

Thanks for all the fantastic work from the Dev Team!

darkcoin now has coinjoin running in the standard client, could it be forked from there and added to the litecoin standard client?

Don't forget each of those were matching donations, so each member that was matched also contributed the same amount.

The total for the matching drive today was 55 Litecoins in the past 24 hours.

I think if no one here objects I may do one of these little matching drives at the beginning of every month.  The transactions above are just my matches, see link for additional detail.

Cheers everyone!  :)

--edit--

I forgot I matched a few people with 150% instead of 100% match, so the total was more like 51 LTC.

BTC China, who just launched Litecoin trading in China, is offering 1000 LTC for the Litecoin Core Development in a matching challenge.

More info here: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=16820.0

Some free publicity for BTC China because they deserve it: trade Litecoin and Bitcoin

I've got my next 10 LTC mined from coinotron heading to this fund.  It's gonna hurt cause the difficulty just went up but I need to support the community and put my money where my mouth is.

I am willing to donate but I wish warren would be more transparent how the 2013 funds where spend. Don't get more wrong I am thankful that he is way more transparent than the Bitcoin Foundation but still there are some things that could be more detailed.

1. Were the R&D expenses donations for Bitcoin upstream development or Litecoin related work. Labelling expenses with R&D is to general.
2. What is "DCAF member project"?
3. Why are there liabilities is the amount of $32,140.57?
4. How much taxes did you pay? (it is actually public, (exchange rate at the date of receiving*amount of coins - expenses)*max income tax rate).

If you can't trust your Devs you can't trust the coin.  If you own the coin, then you trust the Devs.  Easy as that.

Warren seems to be a good fellow and I doubt he'd be needlessly blowing coins on hookers and blow (I, on the other hand, would totally do so).

Whatever is needed to keep this talented dude on the team and improving the protocol. I'm glad we got him on board.
