to expand Litecoin there needs to be some chicken and egg thinking. LTC value wont rise sharply unless there is merchants. and merchants wont use LTC unless there is value.
so working backwards. ... merchants. how to get them onboard?
1. making it easier for them to create new LTC payment addresses
2. making it easy to cash in and out of FIAT-LTC
3. promoting them
so step one building the core services EG blockchain.info and electrum servers for litecoin.
step two adopting bitinstant or creating a fresh LTC payment gateway
now how to get these going.
motivating people and organising people with key tasks/goals and objectives. the easiest way to manage this is with a 'job site' where the litecoin team can list their goals either as a voluntary or paid job, and also businesses and enthusiasts can list their requirements again either voluntary or paid job.
contact details between the requester and the worker are given and updates/progress is also noted. if a goal/task/job is a paid for job the requester is presented with a payment address to input his bounty. using multi sig so that the funds cannot be removed alone. also other merchants/ people that want the same thing can add to that same bounty address
its not about the money but more about the one stop shop to see what goals people want and have it displayed in an organised manner where its not a dictator ship that greedi has to do all the coding while myself and spitoon do all the promoting. anyone can accept the job, anyone can list a job.
this is just one of the 20 idea's i have that the Litecoin Teams 'services' it should have/utilise
as it can also generate non litecoin team job / voluntary work listings to.
so that is what i think one of the first steps should be.
other idea's are the weusecoins videos, access to client downloads from reputable sources and business directory of merchants accepting LTC.
basically making the litecoin foundations website a one stop shop for everything litecoin.
